TODD HAPGOOD
ABOUT ME
ABOUT TODD
Writer. Builder. Teacher. Dad.
I’ve done a lot of different kinds of work. The thread through all of it is curiosity, practical problem-solving, and making useful ideas clearer.
A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I’m a writer, builder, teacher, and practical problem-solver living in Southern California with my family.
I’m a husband and dad with five young kids, so life is busy, loud, funny, and never especially predictable. I’ve worked across teaching, real estate, video, online courses, SaaS, websites, and product building. The work changes, but I keep coming back to the same thing: figuring out how something works and explaining it clearly. Writing is where I want to spend the overwhelming majority of my professional time now. It’s how I make sense of what I’m learning and turn it into something useful for someone else.
THE THREAD THROUGH ALL OF IT
Different paths. Same through-line.
TEACHING
• Years teaching swimming
• Meet people where they are
• Explain complex ideas clearly
• Respect beginners
BUILDING
• Websites, video systems, and courses
• Podcasts and products
• Practical work that improves through use
• Build useful things
WRITING
• Make sense of complicated things
• Help other people do the same
• Clear, useful communication
• Write to be useful
OUTSIDE OF WORK
Life is the other teacher.
I still live in Southern California with my wife and our five young kids. Family life is busy, loud, funny, and important. It keeps me curious, grounded, and aware that useful plans need to work in real life.

BUILDING & LEARNING
I’m still building, testing, and learning. Right now that includes Podingo, experimenting with software and systems, and figuring out which ideas are useful enough to keep pursuing.
• Building Podingo and learning from the process
• Testing product ideas, tools, and practical systems
• Sharing useful lessons as the work develops
COME FOR THE ARTICLES. STAY IF THEY’RE USEFUL.
Thanks for being here. I hope something you read helps you think clearer, build better, or move forward.
